James ASHE
Humanities Teacher
James Ashe comes to the King’s School Vattanacville as the secondary History and Geography teacher. Originally from Berkshire in the UK, James graduated from Newcastle University with a PGCE in 2017. Since completing his first year teaching in London, James has taught at a number of international schools. First at the British School of Lomé in Togo where he was the Geography teacher and DofE lead. This followed by nearly 4 years in Latin America, first at the British School of Costa Rica, and then at the EDRON Academy in Mexico City.
Outside of school, James is a keen runner and looks forward to taking part in various races both in Cambodia and the wider region. When not running, James spends an embarrassing amount of time watching his real passion (Fulham FC) as well as hiking, wildlife spotting, and anything that involves trying something new. I look forward to trying to instil this same passion for the environment and wider world to the students at King’s School Vattanacville!
