Our students were treated to a magical experience as we welcomed a special guest to The King’s School Vattanacville! Author Breanne Orndorff visited our school to read her enchanting book Santa Claus Comes to Cambodia, bringing the festive spirit to life in a way that resonated deeply with our community.

The book, with its playful rhymes and vibrant illustrations, captivated our young readers as they followed Santa’s journey through Cambodia during Christmas time. The story, beautifully reflecting the unique charm of life in Cambodia, was a delightful departure from traditional Christmas tales, making it all the more special for our students.

During her visit, Breanne led a lively reading session, where students were fully immersed in the story. The engaging session was followed by a Q&A, allowing students to ask questions and learn about the creative process behind the book. It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to not only enjoy a great story but also to explore the magic of storytelling and creativity.

The visit sparked a renewed excitement for reading, with many students eager to dive into Santa Claus Comes to Cambodia and explore other books inspired by their own lives and cultures.
