We are excited to announce that our school will be celebrating the Water Festival on Tuesday, November 5th. This event will be filled with traditional activities, creativity, and excitement as we immerse ourselves in Cambodia’s rich cultural heritage. Below is the agenda for the day’s activities, providing a glimpse into what parents and students can expect.

– Date: Tuesday, November 5th
– Time: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
– Location: Level 5 and Level 3, The King’s School, Vattanacville
Key Highlights of the Day:
- 9:00 AM – 9:05 AM: The event will start with the Khmer national anthem, setting a respectful and proud tone for the celebration.
- 9:05 AM – 9:10 AM: A warm welcome speech will follow, officially opening the event.
- 9:10 AM – 10:00 AM: A variety of cultural and artistic activities will take place, including:
- Lotus Folding
- Bro Tip Decoration
- Bro Tip Floating
- Boat Decoration
These hands-on activities are designed to engage students in the cultural significance of the Water Festival while allowing them to express their creativity.
- 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM: A short snack break will provide an opportunity for everyone to relax and enjoy refreshments.
- 10:30 AM – 11:00 AM: The celebration will conclude with a thrilling Boat Racing competition on Level 3, giving students a fun and competitive way to end the event.
