Sophie graduated from the University of Sunderland in 2019 with a degree in Primary Education. Shortly after completing her degree, she embarked on a journey with Royal Caribbean International, one of the largest cruise lines, to satisfy her love for travel and meeting new people. After a couple of contracts, her travels were halted due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Subsequently, Sophie began teaching a mixed Year 1 and Reception class in London. Following her experience in London, she moved to Dubai to teach a Reception class, further honing her skills and expertise in Early Years.

Sophie’s passion for travel, meeting new people, and experiencing diverse cultures continues to be a significant part of her life. Her hobbies also include being crafty, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. Currently, Sophie is thrilled to be working for The King’s School Canterbury and is thankful for all the experiences and knowledge she is gaining.
